I have been able to stop the items on the photo eye using the cover item, stop item trigger, but how will I call the asrs vehicle to pick up the items from the photo eye

The easiest way to do this is by using Process Flow. 25233-try-copy-3.fsm

Process Flow often works better than custom code, however if you really want to custom code here is all the information you should need about writing code in FlexSim:

Please make your responses as a Comment not as an Answer to your question. Thank you!

Process Flow is considered a break down of custom code. If you are looking for something hard coded we recommend looking at our documentation and giving it a shot. https://docs.flexsim.com/en/20.0/Introduction/Welcome/
