exception: HTML Frame Load Error 7 Encountered: Couldn't connect to server

Attach is the post about using GUI's html component to test webkit function:

Download attached model, the html page can't open and report error msg "exception: HTML Frame Load Error 7 Encountered: Couldn't connect to server".

How to solve this problem?

Hi @Libby,

I'm not sure what might be causing that specific error. I was able to connect to FlexSim's home page by using the HTML object in a GUI as shown below. Could you explain the steps you took to add your HTML node and assign a webpage and everything? That might help us debug your issue. It also seems like there may also be an issue with your internet connection.

Hi, @tanner.p ♦ I just download that model and didn't do any change to the HTML node. I assigned that GUI to the "Control" button, opened the GUI by the "Control" button, and then got that error msg.

Do I need to do some config in Global Preferences before using the HTML node? It looks like some kind of network connection error.

Can you go to that website from any other web browser on your computer? The error message says that you can't connect to the server. It seems to me that your connection is being blocked by a firewall.

Do other HTML pages work in your FlexSim installation, such as the Start Page and the User Manual?
