New install. Flexsim main window opens briefly then closes. Trying to evaluate this software in demo version. Any hints? Thanks!

You may want to upgrade your graphics driver, as the version that you have (441.45) is several months old, and Nvidia offers a new driver (~2 weeks old) for your hardware, here:

Your graphics settings are among the most important aspect to getting the most out of FlexSim, and an up-to-date graphics driver can make a big difference in your FlexSim experience.
Also, you've probably seen @Jörg Vogel's update regarding the Internet connectivity issue. For his system, upgrading the LIBEAY32.dll file fixed the problem. Perhaps your system has the same issue that his does and this could fix your problem as well, if you care to try it.

Thank you for the link. Alas, 1 stepped thru the sequence 1- 10 and FlexSim 20.1.1 still crashes on open.
Systems requirements met, Fresh installs as admin, reboots, antivirus deactivated, etc. Crash also happens with 20.0.5. Event log below

64-bit crashes, when loading web content on start
As I described in my answer, you must TURN OFF the internet connection of your system. Pull the ethernet connector or go to flight modus.
Switch off all dynamic content.
With this settings you are restricted to models that doesn’t try to connect to web contents. These are most models. You can’t interact with servers over internet protocols.

It works - thank you! It's definitely not intuitively obvious that you need to disconnect from the internet to make a demo program function. Also, I checked and FlexSim seems to run fine disconnected, but as soon as I connect it crashes. Thanks for your detective work and diligence.
Now, onward to evaluating this software and trying not to be biased.... Take care and stay safe.

The software is supposed to work fine while connected to the Internet :)
This is a bug that affects certain computer configurations. Sorry that it bit you.
We're still trying to determine the underlying cause because none of our test systems can duplicate the issue.
If you can spare the time, please post back a screenshot from your FlexSim software. Go to FlexSim's main menu, Help > About FlexSim. Compose a new comment below to paste a screenshot of the "About FlexSim" popup graphic that appears. It will give us some additional details about your system config that could give us a clue into the problem

@Ben Wilson suggested in a similar question to exchange the libeay32.dll from the source library. For me worked his suggestion. My comment is under this Link, where I describe the success. You should try this on you own, too. The source library isn’t directly linked, but it is quite obvious to get there.
