AStar node spacing setting

AStar uses node allocation to avoid conflicts and can expand nodes.

How to set the nodes not to be square? For example: 1.5 m * 1m or 1m * 1.5m

Hi @steven.chen,

It's hard to know how to help without looking at your model. To receive a more accurate solution, please post your model or a sample model that demonstrates your question.

Proprietary models can be posted as a private question visible only to FlexSim U.S. support staff. You can also contact your local FlexSim distributor for phone or email help.

I'm not sure how the shape or size of the A* nodes will make any difference. I'm not sure what you are trying to accomplish by changing node size/shape. Can you give us any more information to go on?

This is not currently a feature. The A* grid only allows square nodes.
