How can I create state pies of certain time periods?

How can I monitor state charts of different task executers in different time periods? In this specific case I want to log the impacts of different shifts in my simulation model by analyzing the states of my task executers. Unfortunately I built this model in version 2020.2.2, where I cannot display legacy charts, in which it was possible to select a certain time period for a state pie. Maybe the problem can be solved by a stats collector, but I don't know how. Hopefully some of you can help me with this.

Hi @Fiona K,

I would recommend using the Legacy Charts to do this instead of trying to do it with the new Stats Collector stuff because it requires creating tracked variable labels, custom stats collectors with conditions, and your own calculated tables.

You can still access the old Legacy Charts in FlexSim version 2020.2.2. They are just a little bit more hidden. You can turn them on using the following steps:

  1. Open your Global Preferences, which is found under File. This will open a new window.
  2. Select the Libraries Tab on the top.
  3. Under Enabled Libraries change it to say Dashboards in the drop-down list.
  4. Scroll to the bottom of the list and you will find the Legacy Charts, as seen in the image below.
  5. Click on the Red X to turn them on. One click will change it to a yellow checkmarks which means it will be turned on but not expanded. Two clicks will make it a green checkmark which will turn it on and expand the options.

Hope this helps.
