As I follow the discussion about the conveyor types and the progression to a more oop behavior, I think it would not us surprise as much as it does now, if we know what is in the pipeline in a short and long term.
Probably you want to keep it in a more secret state, but on the other hand you are going to surprise us now in smaller intervals with features-progressions. And you force us to rethink our own strategis to build models. I like that what works for me. And I like only new features and methods if they make my life easier at the end. But I don’t often see the benefits of new features, because I don’t know why and how FlexSim changes.
I had seen a strict oop strategy in another DES tool 15 years ago. I have been missing this in FlexSim since. And I can’t imagine how you implement it into properties’ windows. And I am curious how you implement oop inheritance in FlexSim objects on trigger level.
