AGV redirect and continue on pre arrival does not work as expected

Hi,

When you AGV.redirect with the constant REDIRECT_AND_CONTINUE_ON_PRE_ARRIVAL the AGV movement is not as expected. The AGV does not always go to the intermediate destination before it continues to the final destination. It looks like the AGV continues to the final destination on the pre arrival of any control point. This can be shown in the attached example model.

The AGV gets a travel task to the destination on the bottom left. When it reaches the redirect point it is redirected to the intermediate destination.

When the control point that is circled red is not on the network it all works well. But if the control point is on the network (as in the picture) the AGV never passes the intermediate destination.

Is our expectation of what REDIRECT_AND_CONTINUE_ON_PRE_ARRIVAL should do wrong or is this a bug? If it is a bug, do you maybe know of a work around for now?

Thank you for your time,

Patrick

The workaround is to redirect from the circled red point instead of the previous point. As you pointed out, the pre-arrival of the circled red point is redirecting him back to his final destination, overriding your previous redirection.

@anthony.johnson is on vacation this week and can't confirm whether this is by design or not yet. Seems like a bug to me though.

The way REDIRECT_AND_CONTINUE_ON_PRE_ARRIVAL is behaving right now is "redirect to a specified control point and then continue on prearrival of any control point," not "redirect to a specified control point and then continue on prearrival of that particular control point."
