Disabling Snap force temporarily

Hello I'm creating a model of small scale. When I place conveyor, since the two conveyors need to be placed close, if I were to place using mouse drag, the snap force prevents from placing the conveyor in correct place. Is there any way to disable this force temporarily? Or do I need to control by changing the value of XYZ at start and end? I have the snap to grid feature off.

I don't know if you can disable it completely, but in the Conveyor System Properties (under Toolbox) you can adjust the snapping threshold to a lower number (min. 0.01m) to be able to place them more precisely.

Snap to Grid is an option in the view settings of Quick Property panel. Nothing gets highlighted in you click in the 3D View and you have access to the view settings of the 3D View in Quick Properties Panel. If you don’t find them there, try More View Setting button. If you deactivate Snap to Grid, then you can place any object wherever you want. Please consider to set or update reset object location or deactivate the ability to get selected, once you have activated Snap to Grid again. Sometimes you accidentally drag an object and the object snap to grid then.
