Trying to calculate bed requirements based on labels for a patient. I have labels on a patient called service (ortho, urology etc.) and 40 bed locations. Would my best bet be to look at how much stay time accumulates in that location and dividing out by the model run time by using that patient label?
I don't mind updating if that was added in a later revision?
It wasn't a Boolean type of thing what I ended up doing was to create individual groups of beds that were labelled based on individual services. I was pretty much trying to determine how many beds each service should be given based on and OR schedule.
So I sent patients to these groups of beds and changed the quantities around with experimenter.
I thought originally that I could just send them all to one large group of beds and calculate how many bed hours are being used per service based on the labelling of each patient with each service.
