Histogram of a Queue's content

I want to create a histogram of a queue's content over a fixed simulation run length. I have made use of 'Histogram' from toolbox but this doesn't generate a histogram. An alternative I figured is to export the data from a content vs time chart into a .csv file and generate a histogram. I imagine there has to be an easy way to do this using Flexsim, can someone look at this simple model and suggest a way? Queue_Content_Histogram.fsm

Hi @PT2,

It looks like this question may be part of a homework assignment or academic project. The professors who assign simulation modeling exercises using FlexSim expect that the academic integrity of their assignments will be maintained. In addition, we are supportive of Honor Codes or Pledges that regulate the behavior surrounding academic assignments.

I recommend reading our best practices page on the subject, which includes some resources that you should find helpful as you use FlexSim for academic purposes. I also highly recommend Dr. Allen Greenwood’s FlexSim Primer, which was written specifically for students and professors.

Hi, let me inform you that this question is neither part of any homework assignment or any academic project. It is a curious question that I came across while developing a different simulation model. Like I initially mentioned I have an alternative 'export the data from a content vs time chart into a .csv file and generate a histogram.' But can Flexsim eliminate the export step by generating the histogram?

Sure it does, you start with a statistic collector for content vs time default statistic chart which you parse into a histogram chart.
