how to properly do the AGV dropoff magic?

Hi, I have set up the AGV system with your help. Thank you.

Now I want to do the final visual improvements. My AGVs should not pick/drop the pallets sideways, but drive in to the location. See the following picture:

When I try to use this config, (AGV1 drives in the yellow path to drop the pallet on the green conveyor) the model later stops because AGV2 wants to claim the control point highlighted in blue when AGV1 is pulling back from the dropoff. :(

Is there a way to handle this? Thanks for your patience.

Hey @Enrique Elizaga,

I think this would be most easily handled if you have the paths curve to the left instead of to the right. Then, when AGV1 is pulling back from the dropoff, it will claim the control point on the left (circled in red) rather than the blue-highlighted control point.

Does that make sense? I hope this helps!

Hello Enrique,

Do you want the AGV to reach the blue control point? If this is not the case you could add control points between the curved sections so the AGV can backup just a little.

You could also use areas with this new control points so you don´t get a gridlock.
