Hello Dears,
I was wondering if it is possible to set the location of a plant inside an industrial complex as a parameter to find somehow the optimum location for the plant. Is such an approach is feasible? and how to do it?
Thank you.
Hello Dears,

Yes, this is possible. Create two parameters for the x and y location and create an On Reset trigger that sets the location:
This would set the location for only one object, so you would need to place all the objects belonging to the plant into a plane. This is done by opening up the Edit Selected Objects:
Then control + click (or Shift + click and drag) all the objects, release the control key, click the plane, then select the Move into Selected option.
This also assumes your simulation has variables that interact with the plant, such as operators or vehicles traveling to and from the plant location.
Let me know if you have any other questions.
