I have managed to configure the experimenter to measure the average idle time for each resource and the number of deliveries. To be able to vary the number of AGVs, I had to increase the number of parking spaces in the model and Process Flow.
I want to balance the system so that the WIP (Work in Progress) doesn't skyrocket. Currently, there is an input of 26 pallets/hour (12 boxes per pallet = 312 boxes), and I achieve an output of an average of 218 boxes/hour.
I believe I could balance it by increasing the number of AGVs with the experimenter, but this requires me to constantly modify the model and Process Flow.
How could I design the logic and model to vary the number of AGVs in each scenario without having to modify the model or Process Flow?
