Is there a way to get a flow item as a shape frame in anther flow item? I am using the box as the base. Then after a process I want it to look like it has a top cap. I duplicated the box and added a top to it in animations so it shows up as another flow item. I can't figure out how to get this new one added as frame 2 to the original box flow item. I can't find where it's saved. I tried adding to a user library but don't see it anywhere. Is this even possible?

Are there any other options? I guess it's helpful to know if it's not possible...would be nice to be able to do simple shapes in flexsim though, I haven't ever used 3d editors.

Yes. There does not exist an design editor for frames. You can add mesh vertexes by code, you can add drawsurrogate objects in animation creator. You can draw a box by code. You find here at answers suggestions for external shape editors.

You can read about creating and importing 3D object in our manual. There are two other resources referenced for creating or finding 3D objects that can be used in FlexSim.
