You can use a site like 3D Warehouse (sketchup.com) to search for and download free 3D models. Not every download hosted there will be compatible with FlexSim, but often a shape is offered in multiple versions of multiple formats and you'll be able to find one that will import just fine into FlexSim.

There are other free online 3D shape repositories. Just search the Internet and you'll find many.

Here is a list of shape formats that can be successfully imported into FlexSim:

Creating and Importing Custom 3D Objects (flexsim.com)

If you find a particular shape that should import, but you're having trouble, attach the shape file and we can check it out.

Please keep in mind also that not every shape is appropriate for use in a simulation. Often shapes are created with a great bit of detail that is not useful when you're zoomed out in a simulation. Often the simpler shapes will give you much better performance. See the heading "Guidelines for Creating Custom 3D Objects" on the link above.

Comment back with any follow-up questions or problems.
