Replace Name Text of Multiple 3D objects at a time?

Hi Team,

I have 100 3D objects having names as below:

Red_1, Red_2, Red_3, Red_4, Red_5, Red_6...................................................Red_100

All 100 objects are in the same plane named as Yellow_Plane. I want to replace "Red" to "Yellow" in all objects at a time.

Is there any way to do it?

Thank you!

Just explore the yellow container/plane in the tree view and than under Properties->Search perform the find and replace while Searching names

Hi @Jason Lightfoot,

Yes, I was trying this option. But it is not working for my case as I am expecting.

The reason is I have two planes red and yellow in which there are objects. I only want to change name for objects in yellow plane.

The option you are suggesting will replace the all objects red text name to yellow.

By the way I found the way to do it as below:

Thank you for your support!

I expect you didn't have the Yellow plane as the root of the tree - look at the Tree Navigation at the top of the image showing Model:/Yellow. You get that by right clicking the plane and selecting "Explore Tree" (for example).
