OPC DA output signal not received

Hello,

I have a setup that using OPC DA to connect PLC. It's fine to send input signal to PLC (sensor), but FlexSim doesn't receive output signal from PLC (control) even "Subscribe for Changes" checked.

I tried other tool to test signal transmission and IO are both okay.

Do I have wrong configuration? And how can I debug this?

Hi Steven,

which OPC DA server are you using?

Could you share the emulation configuration are you using? May be that you are read a not-supported data type?

FlexSim OPC DA has been tested with standard product like KepServer OPC DA and work correctly with PLC Control Tag.

Actually I use some kind of soft-PLC as OPC DA server, perhaps it's the reason why FlexSim can't receive signal from the soft-PLC. I will find some time to test connection on hardware PLC. Will update infomation here after test done.

There is no reason why a OPC DA client (like Flexsim connector is) doesn't work with a soft-PLC DA server if the OPC DA prococol is correctly implemented.

It is possible to know which soft-PLC are you using?
