How to make simulation run between x hours with inter arrival deviation

I have a simulation with a source that at the momemt generates 6 customers / hour with inter arrivaltime (exponential).
I want to run the simulation for 15 days but I want the source to generate customers between 8am to 8pm everyday.
If i choose arrival schedule i can make customers arrive at certain time, but then i have to make the customers arriving static each hour.

So how do I keep the inter-arrival time with exponential but only generating customers between 8am to 8 pm.

Hi @Gurkbutter,

In the Inter-Arrivaltime property you can find an option called Hourly Rates, Custom Daily Repeat within the Periodic Rates option.

You can set the number of arrival you need within the hour frame daily. You can also change the distribution used, as well as the stream.

Thankyou Sebastian!

I understood everything besides making it 6 customers arriving per hour.
I made this and it works like I want but source increased arrival rate/hour. See attached picture.

In order to make 6 customers arriving per hour you change the value that is created within the cell value. The default value is 100, which means it'll arrive 100 flowitems within that period of time. If you want to have 6 customer per hour, you can just type 6 in the cells.
