Replacing selected objects motion path doesn't seem to be working

I set Robot1 motion path "Load" Row1 "J6" to -35.

I load Robot2 and select Robot2. From Robot1, I click the replace button next to Edit Motion Paths, but the value for J6 in Row1 doesn't seem to change in Robot2.

It works if Robot1 is also part of the selected objects.

I agree that this seems like a bug since similar options, such as copying labels, do not have that restriction.

The labels copy button is the only one I saw in a quick search that works without selecting the first object and that's because the Labels panel can be opened in its own window and uses a different mechanism for copying to other selected objects.

As @Felix Möhlmann pointed out, you need to select both Robot1 and Robot2 with a red box.

This is currently working as designed since those buttons are using the same mechanism as other fields in Properties (for example change the Capacity field of the robot when it and another robot are selected) which if the object is selected then uses the list in the Selected Objects panels of Properties to copy those changes to all the objects in the list.

I agree that this does feel like something's not working though. I'll add a case to the dev list to discuss improving this.
