Is this expected behavior for Use navigator for offset travel

When building a model we encountered the following functionality and we where wondering if this is a bug or by design.

When you have a transporter connected to a node network and only use a load and unload task in process flow and the option "Use navigator for offset travel" is selected and there is a node not connected to your network en not connected to the end destination, but closer to the end destination, the transporter wants to go to that node and obviously can't, so an error appears.

See the attached model.

This is a known bug that was reported in June last year based on this post.

It seems the navigator is unaware that a traveller could be on a different network 'partition' when calculating offset travel.
