Need an idea to start a model in VR height climbing.

Hi Community,

I need an idea to start the model, there is a climbing harness put in a rack. So when the user wants to wear it he should grab from the rack and wear it as shown in the YouTube link attached below.

Thanks In advance for your help.

You can get the current world position/rotation of the vr headset through the stick() command.

https://answers.flexsim.com/questions/127916/how-set-headset-word-position-in-vr.html

So once the user has grabbed the harness and released in some proximity to the headset (or a point below it) you would set a label/variable that causes the harness' location to be updated on PreDraw to always appear below the headset.

Grabbing and releasing objects is covered in the available vr demo models.

Of course it would not be possible to determine if a person wearing the headset is leaning with their entire upper body or only tilting the head, so reflecting rotation of the harness along the x- and y-axis in the model is probably not feasible.
