Autodesk Acquisition Discussion

https://adsknews.autodesk.com/en/news/autodesk-acquires-factory-simulation-flexsim/

I'm curious to learn more about this from FlexSim's perspective. A few questions:

1) What will happen to current multi-year licenses?

2) What key things might be expected to change from user's perspective?

3) Will the current Flexsim support and dev team continue work on updates to the software into the future?

4) What was the reasoning behind this move?

I am sure this will be the first of many questions about the Autodesk acquisition of FlexSim. Currently, all licensing will remain the same. There have been no plans made to change anything at the present. You should receive the same support from the people you have been getting in the past. Product development will continue, you can still request features and bugs to [email protected].

Advantages will soon be seen in the integration of FlexSim within the Autodesk Fusion 360 platform. FlexSim will be more compatible, more usable, and thus more valuable in virtual design and increased efficiencies in manufacturing and supply-chain systems. FlexSim users will benefit as these features and capabilities will be added to the software.
