Direction of flow item after exitting the conveyor

Hello folks,

I'm having a bit of a problem with the direction of a flow item after it exits the conveyor

As from the above picture, the supposed direction of the cylinders should be lying horizontally. But somehow if the crane picks them out from the conveyor and place it to the queue, their direction changed to vertical, like some of the cylinders in the picture. And explicitly from the toolbox I have set the direction for the cylinder to be horizontal:

Does anyone know how to fix this problem? Much appreciate :)

Hi Hoang,

You can add an "On Entry" trigger to your queues that sets the rotation of the object to the one you want.

You can also use the Shape Factors to control how the 3D shape is oriented while the object has a rotation of (0, 0, 0).

Thank you, I'll try to see if it can prevent the rotation after conveyor

Hi,

Thanks for your suggestion but if I do so, then it will also rotate the cylinders being moved in from other places, of which directions are correct

The entry trigger will only rotate the cylinders that are not correctly placed when entering a queue, since the rest of them will already be at the chosen rotation values!

You're setting the rotation to the same number, not incrementing it by that number for each entry.
