Designing Hospital Transfer Simulation Incorporating Desired Pickup Times

I'm planning to implement a simulation of hospital transfers, where currently, the hospital collects desired pickup times. I'm unsure how to incorporate these desired times into the process, where transfer personnel would pick up patients at their requested times.

How should I design the flow so that transfer personnel know the desired pickup times in advance and perform transfers accordingly?

@Amy, if you are building only actions a facility then you can do it flexsim healthcare environment. If you want to visualize and build a map of facilities, then think about to switch FlexSim classic, when you are adding transport shuttle vehicles in your model. There is a button in FlexSim upper right to switch between both environments.

I'm planning to use FlexSim HC. In FlexSim HC, is it possible to have transporter pick up patients considering the time that the patients wants to be picked up?

Both environments can handle this.

You may find it easier to use a list of upcoming transfer jobs and estimate the travel time to arrive at the desired pickup time when a transporter pulls the job from the list. You can also preempt a pickup from another transporter if you are closer so that they can redeploy to another pickup.
