It is probably a question upon an action of a timetable. You want to delay a call of stop, until currently processed item is complete. You set a label value at your processor. If this value matches a certain self defined value, you let stop a processor by an event of on process finish or on exit. After this you reset the label value, when timetable lets resume the processor again.
