Synchronize activity not grouping partitions

Screenshot 2024-07-26 130600.pngI'm trying to use the synchronize activity in a process flow, where the partition ID is a string label on the token. However, despite the value of the string being the same, the synchronize activity puts the tokens in two different partition IDs. How would I get it to recognize them as the same ID? Changing the string to a number does not work either.

Hi @Ben Wychocki,

It's hard to know how to help without looking at your model. To receive a more accurate solution, please post your model or a sample model that demonstrates your question.

Are the tokens in your screenshot all entering through the same connector perchance? The Synchronize activity requires one token from each incoming connector to form a batch.
