I'm simulate a warehousing system. In my model includes an input area and an output area.
In the input area.After the item is placed at the receiving area (Queue1), the system determines the storage cabinet where the item is to be placed. Only one item is allowed to be placed in each slot.
In the output area. The staff will go to the shipping area (combiner), check the items currently on the rack, and pick a specific item (e.g. "label" 6) from rack. Then ASRS takes the item out of the rack and transport them to Queue2. I use source object connect to combiner to simulate the staff walk to shipping area(combiner).
Now I have problem of simulating the output area. My opinion is when staff enter shipping area(combiner) ,the combiner will send a massage of the item id value that currently exist on the rack to Queue2. And the system will pull the specific item from rack to Queue2.
How to modify the current model?The attachment is as follows.Thanks in advance.
