I have a model ready to run simulations, but I would like to make it looks like the real facility it represents, such as adding a specific ground, appropriate walls, and so forth. How is the best way to do this?

There are options within FlexSim to add objects and change the model floor, but the best way to customize your model is probably to import objects and a background. There are several options available in the Library.
In the properties window, under the General tab there are options to import 3D shapes and textures. You can also create custom animations. These options are available on Visual objects as well as any of the other 3D objects in your model.
