Excel Interface raises error "Error closing the excel workbook" after importing data - version 16.1

While using the Excel Interface, after all the worksheets are imported to global tables, the data import is successful but an error message pops up:

Excel Read Error, Error closing the excel workbook.

I only face this issue in version 16.1.0. No issues if the same workbook is imported using previous versions.

Excel is 2013 version.

There are no issues with your model or the excel file. What version of Excel are you using? What version of Windows?

@Imran, What about localizations? Are you using US EN copy of Windows and Office? If not, what localizations are you using?

Also architecture. Is Windows 32- or 64-bit? What about Office?

We were able to duplicate the issue on a Windows 7 VM with Excel 2013. Every other combination of Excel/Windows that we've tried have all worked fine.

We're working on fixing the error; it will probably be fixed for FlexSim 2016 Update 2.

For now, you can ignore the error message. Everything is working correctly, but it throws an exception as it is cleaning up a pointer at the very end of the excelclose() command.
