If you open a newly saved, working FlexSim model file with a text editor, you can see what a valid model should look like. The beginning of the file contains header information and starts with "flexsimtree":

Your attached model file does not start with flexsimtree, and since it is a binary file there is little else that we can do in analyzing it to figure out what is going on.

Most likely your saved model file has become corrupted and you will need to restore a backup of it.

Corrupt models, how they happen, and what can be done with them, are outlined in this article. Except in rare instances, a corrupt model will usually require you to abandon it and go back to a previous saved version. Hopefully you have backups.

Sorry for the bad news.

Have you tried opening either the *.fsm! file or the file with _autosave.fsm ?
