@S. Cardinali Take a source, select the arrival schedule as option in the arrival style and in the table that appears change the quantity to what ever you want and connect the source to the rack. Reset and run and you will have instantly a certain amount of items in your rack.

If the amount of boxes gets really big you can get a negative effect on your model performance. Then you can fill the rack static with mesh boxes. But I am not able to show you, how to achieve this, but I am interested myself to see such a sample model.
