Optimization of processors, conveyors and operators..

Hello, please i am a student and this is the first model i am building. I am almost done but facing some difficulties so i consulted my professor but he said he can't help with it.I would be very glad if i can be assisted in correcting or improving the working state of processors, conveyors and operators in this model. Thank you.mtnby.fsm

If you're looking for optimization information, have you looked into using the Optimizer functionality of the experimenter? If you open up the User Manual and go to the Experimenter / Optimizer section, and then under Optimizer concepts. It will teach you how to configure the optimizer with scenarios so that you can find optimal settings for your model.

@Sam Stubbs ,Please i am not having the optimizer software ,beside my main objective is just to improve the working state of conveyors, processors and operators in the model as compared to the current working state statistics of the dashboard. I would be very glad if you can take me through a step by step procedure in achieving my objective because i really want to learn and build this model.Thank you.

You should be able to access the Optimizer from withing the Experimenter. At the top go to Statistics > Experimenter. The Optimizer tabs are in that Experimenter window. You can learn more about using them by going to the User manual chapters I outlined.

If you don't have access to the Optimizer, you can still use the Experimenter to try different scenarios. This is one of the keys of simulation, you can set up different scenarios in the Experimenter (for example more Opterators, more processors etc) to try and maximize efficiency. You'll probably have to play around with it a bit.
