How can I attach an object (a visual shape) to a fixed resource?

In the attached model I've attached a visual shape to another shape using the "Move into Model" command. When I use the same command moving a visual shape into a fixed resource, the shape disappears when I rest the model. Any ideas how to permanently move a shape into a fixed resource?

When you put something inside of a fixed resource it basically treats it like a flowitem, that's why it disappears on reset. So you can't really put another object "inside" another like that but you may be able to do what you want by adding a surrogate in the animation builder of the fixed resource or by drawing a shape of using the OnDraw trigger.

@Michael Kramer You could also move the fixed resource onto a plane along with any visual shapes. That way they are all on the same plane and can be moved together.

Thank you both for the response. I ended up moving the resource into a plane and referencing the location of the visual with respect to the plane.
