When copying and pasting Conveyors, there is a lot of different code that is happening behind the scenes to try and determine how the pasted Conveyors should be drawn. This means there are sometime conflicts that make it so the pasted Conveyors don't look the way you would expect. This is especially true when dealing with Conveyors with different Z values and even more so if the Z values are different for the Start and End coordinates on any of those Conveyors. You can see a previous answer about one of these cases here.

This is a known issue with the developers and they have been working on getting it to work so it is easier for users to copy and paste Conveyors. Since there is a lot going on behind the scenes, it may take some time before everything is worked out.

For now, it may take trying a few things to get it to work the way you want. If a straight copy and paste doesn't seem to work, you can try to use the Duplicate button in the Edit Selected Objects window (found in the View menu). You just need to select (using Shift or Ctrl) the objects you want to duplicate and then hit the Duplicate button. Then, move the duplicated objects to where you want them in the model.

You can also try moving objecting into a Visual Plane and then copying and pasting the Visual Plane. Once pasted, you can move the Visual Plane and the pasted objects will move with it.
