How can you create a belt conveyor (no rollers)?

It appears that both answers do essentially the same thing. But if you just color the conveyor, you can have accumulating "belt" conveyors, if that is a concern.
@Jeff Nordgren and @Matthew Gillespie this works but when I activate render mode the rollers will show instead of a belt conveyor.

You just need to uncheck the Accumulating box on the Behavior tab of the Conveyor Type.

Not exactly sure what you are wanting but you could just change the color of the conveyor, say to black, in the Conveyor Type Properties window on the Visual tab, last option. Would that work for you?
