Possible bug in slug building (Entry transfer / item orientation based)

Hey everyone.

I think I may have discovered a bug in the conveyor module.

I have built two identical lines, where a queue feeds flow items into a slug building conveyor.

The only difference is that the item orientation in the entry transfer on the lower line is set to y+.

With the changed item orientation, the slug building conveyor does not accept a second flow item.

Is this a bug?

Can anyone think of a quick fix to this problem?

It does look like this is a possible bug. I've let the developers know about the issue, to see about fixing it. A potential work-around in the meantime however, is to make a small strip of conveyor at the beginning that is NOT slug building (with your entry transfer rotation logic) but have that imediately stream into the slug building conveyor.

Here's an example:
