Thoughts on why Traffic Control doesn't register entries?

FlexSim 16.1.0

The attached model has a Task Executer doing a pickup and dropoff that requires it to twice pass through 2 Traffic Controls. Both Traffic Controls have OnEntry triggers with a breakpoint.

When the TE travels for pickup, it doesn't trip the trigger on either TC. Traveling loaded to dropoff, it triggers only the second one it enters (TC_B).

Any help in understanding what's going on would be appreciated.

@Michael O'Connell,

As far as I can tell the AGV doesn't trigger the onEntry of the traffic zones when going down to the pick up, because it's not actually entering the Traffic restricted area.

The traffic restricted area is the space between the two designated points, not necessarily the points themselves. So the onEntry only fires when the AGV actually travels between the two points.

You can add additional nodes if you want the traffic control entry to happen when going north/south as well:
