How can I display a graph that includes the type label of the item as a row for the contents of a rack? I added it to the chart statistics, but it doesn't separate by the type label. 11553-warehouse-example-jn1-2.fsm

Is this what you had in mind? Take a look at the change I made and see if this is what you were wanting. For the graph, I just take the first flowitem's type, assuming that all flowitems of the same type are going to the same rack. If this is not the case, then this wouldn't work. If it is the case, then maybe something like this would work for you?

Thanks for the response @Jeff Nordgren Yeah the issue is that there isn't a guarantee that the customer will want each rack to only hold 1 item type.

So I'm a little confused then as to exactly what you are looking for. Can you give me more details? Like how the racks do hold flowitems and what types. It isn't just a random thing, is it?
@Jeff Nordgren for example something like this. This model is more theoretical to present to a customer and I don't have the details on how the items are stored in their warehouse but I am almost sure each rack holds 20+ different items. I can do with listening activities in process flow zone. I was wondering if I could skip all that and use the stats collector or something.
