Flow Rack/Conveyor

Hi, I am trying to create a simulation of a pallet flow rack. I have seen models using where the rack is simply tilted. However, I am trying to simulate the pallet actually being dropped off in on side of the rack (multiple levels) and sliding down the length of the rack and stored. After a duration of time, the pallet will be picked from the opposite side of the rack relative to where it would be dropped off. I browsed other threads but could not find something similar. Has anyone done something similar?

What is it you are looking for? The rack stores the pallets or the animation of queueing in the rack?

I am looking for something along the lines of the rack that is in this model, except only 1 bay wide. The simulation will have pallets coming off a production line conveyor. A forklift will then pick the pallet up and drive it to the rack, where it will slide down to the other end of the rack, which will be located on the other side of the warehouse.

Lastly, a different forklift operator will take the pallet that slid down the flow rack and load it to outgoing shipment. I have attached a model from a different thread of what I am trying to explain.

@Dustin S How many levels do you want the rack to be? Rather than using a rack since you want things to transfer down a length, and depending on how many levels you need, you can easily use several conveyors stacked on top of each other to get the visual I think you desire.

@Dustin S

You can use the conveyors as multi levels to look for your solution. Put the conveyors on the first level conveyor and make them tilted on front edge high with end edge low.

First layer conveyor and second layer conveyor and third layer conveyor...multi-coloumns conveyors...

Here is an example of the system you are describing. I had to add network nodes or else the movement of the forklifts is really off where the first one travels in the sky to the top conveyor and the last forklift digs into the ground to load the pallet. Hope this is what you are looking for.flow-rack.fsm
