Will Reusing Activities in this model affect dashboard statistics

In the attached model, we use activities 190-230 1, 2, 3 or 4 times rather than add the activities to the track. In order to accomplish this we identified the next activity using the Next Activity instead of predecessors for these activities. This process seems to be producing the desired information. My question is do you see any problems with this process?

Using an activity multiple times is a common practice in my inpatient models. The only thing to keep in mind is that the milestone time and activity completion time recorded for the activity will be overwritten with each subsequent use of the activity.

So the answer to your question "Will this process produce valid results?" the answer is: it depends what result you are interested in reviewing. If you are interested in reviewing the milestone completion times for each completion of the activity, then you will need to use multiple activities rather than reusing the same activity. With close observation of your dashboards during the model run, you will know whether or not the particular metric is being affected by the repeated use of a given activity.
