Can decision points be used with "connect objects" instead of conveyors?

Hie, I have a trial version of Flexsim and I cannot use conveyors because of exceeding the maximum objects limit. Can anyone please help me with using decision points using "connect objects" lines. I'll attach a sample of the model I am looking to achieve this. P.S: Can't use process flow charts either because of the trial version. I am new to flexsim programming too.

Description of the model: Items come from source to separator and 8 items goto each of the processors (except processor 7). And finally, go into processor 7 if item travels within this circle for less than 9 times. If more than 9 times, item should go to the sink.

You can't use decision points with any object except a conveyor. If you want to create logic for where to send an object, you can use the following box and options to create this logic:
