Why was the results of random sending same as sending by expression(item.Type) in the trial version software?
In the trial version of the software, the random number generator is fixed.
Each random number stream is seeded to the same initial value, so you will get the same sequence of pseudo-random numbers from each stream.
You are pulling from one stream for the itemtype generation and another stream for the send to port. Both streams are generating the same pseudo-random numbers.
If you want valid statistical results when running the simulation, you need to license the software.
