Setup Times in Experimenter

I am looking to change setup time and inter-arrival times in experimenter to see their impact on total throughput. I have my setup times in a to-from matrix, and my inter arrival times are different for each source. Is there any way to do this?

You set labels at the objects, that you put directly at the interarrival time or setup time. You can use the labels even as parameters in statistical distributionsthere. Then you select the labels in the experimenter and start to vary them.

@Jörg Vogel

It keeps giving me an error that there are too many "}" when I attempt to create a trigger "on creation" from the source. I didn't edit anything else and did not use "}" anywhere... Is there another place I should be trying to add the trigger or is there something else I am missing?

You don't need any triggers. Please place a label on the label tab of the objects directly. Then you put this label wether in the inter arrival time statistical distribution or in the setup time. If the setup time is deepending on a change of itemtypes, please find yourself a logic that depends on changing of a label values.

These labels are your variables in the experimenter.

EDIT: If the setup table changes in the experimenter run, you build different named global tables. In the setup time function you add an array of the global table names. A number label at the object tells the setup time function which index of the array will be used at the current simulation run. This label value can you vary in the experimenter then.

@Jörg Vogel Thanks! I've almost got it I think

Which object would I put the label on?
