How to change the coordinates of the imported floor plans?

Hi

I cant seem to import floor plans as desired, When I'm importing floor plan and in the dimension panel, whenever i change the the X and Y coordinates the layout disappears ... I'm trying to import 5 floors and have them side by side... I cant seem to import them that way , if i don't change the coordinates they are imported on top of each other? any help?

Are the layouts disappearing completely, or are they just moving farther off the screen?

You may need to either send over your model and drawing files, or give us a call here at the office and let us work through it with you on a web conference or something. Hard to say what's going on without seeing exactly what you're doing. I suppose it could be a memory problem if you have very large CAD files. Even if that's not the problem, it's always a good idea to trim down your CAD drawing to just what's needed for modeling purposes.

Ziad, sent me over his drawings. It turned out to be a problem with the geometry in the drawing being way out in outer space and difficult to find. FlexSim HC runs an algorithm during import to try and center up the geometry in the 3D space, but in the case of these drawings, there was a drawn grid extending from the origin to the floor plan geometry so the centering algorithm didn't do anything for you. We removed the grid from the drawings and they imported nicely where you could immediately see everything important.
