Create only 1 arrival

Hi Everyone,

I have a problem in which parts arrive only once during a 180 minute simulation. But the arrival time is uniform(60,150). Can anyone give me a solution as to how to do it.

I tried using different times for Nth item but i think there maybe a bug in it.problem.fsm

When i run the simulation the first item gets the large value but from the next item onwards the pattern is ok

Is there anyway to do it without process flow.

There may be a way to use just a source, but consider this:

possible-solution.fsm

You could set the source to arrive every 180 minutes exactly. Have that source go directly to a processor that uses your uniform distribution, after which the item goes to a queue. Then you can visually see how close the item is to arriving.
