send to port

I wonder why the Item doesn't deliver to rack 3 and rack 4 ?

I have 2 types of Item. The Item are delivered from the queue to the rack.

In the case of all rack, the same Item will be stored at the same rack.

I want to deliver Item to every rack and Items in each rack must be of the same type.

Thank you for your help in advance.

Hello @Jeff Nordgren

I would like to inquire more about adding a transporter.

I went to try to change Transporter9 at count from 1 to 2.

But Transporter9_2 in the 3D model does not work. I want to know why Transporter9_2 not working.

I thank you for your help in advance.

@joey,

Attached is your model with the changes that I've made. Take a look at it and see if this is what you had in mind. If not, please explain further what needs to happen.

Thanks.

Thank you very much @Jeff Nordgren

This is what i want.Thank you for understanding my question. Fit my soft language.

But can you explain the point that you can adjust to me?

I do not understand the direct pull requirement.

Thank you very much.

@joey,

What part of the code don't you understand? (see below)

This is the code in each of the racks. What it does is to make sure that if there are flowitems in the rack already, they get the same flowitem type. If not, it will pull whatever flowitem is ready.

Please let me know what part of the code that you don't understand.

Thanks.

Hello @Jeff Nordgren

I have a problem asking a little more about the model.

1 In the case of the red item, I want the red item to be placed in the same rack before the next step. Send the red item to another rack.

2 In case when the item is full of rack, then want the item to wait for the order to pull the item out of the rack, assuming that it is waiting for 15 days

From 2 cases, where should I solve the problem?

I thank you for your help in advance.

@joey,

I hope that I am understanding what it is that you want the model to do. To do what you describe, you could write a bunch of code in the model objects or use Process Flow do do it. I could write the code in the model to do what you are asking but it would not be an easy task. I'm all for doing things the easiest way possible. That is why I chose to use Process Flow to solve the problem. Process Flow is very powerful and easier to solve hard problems rather than just writing code in the model.

Attached is my revised model that uses PF to solve the problem that you described. Take a look at the model and see if it is now doing what you want it to do. If you have any questions or problems, please let us know.

Thanks.

@Jeff Nordgren

I have brought your model to study, but I doubt.

About adding items. I have added 1 items in the process flow.

Which the problem that followed was item 3, an error occurred.

Where can I edit the process flow?

Thanks.
