I just developed a small VR game in FlexSim and realized that it would be cooler if we can add some background music. Is it possible to do that in FlexSim?
Thanks for the help!
Hi @Hao Zhou,
Have a look at the various sound commands. You'll probably be able to do what you're trying for.
Hi Ben. The sound effects with WAV format work very well with touch controller interactions. However, the longer time musics that are used for background music with MP3 format do not work. Even I convert the format to WAV, it still does not work properly. Could you provide suggestions to fix it? Thanks
Hi @Hao Zhou,
Can you post an example audio file that does not work? We can test to see what the problem is.
Be sure to @Ben Wilson notify me when you make a reply. That way I'll know that you have posted something new.
Hi @Hao Zhou,
Maybe there is something in the finalized .wav file that differs, where FlexSim is able to play .wav files from some encoders but not others? ( @phil.bobo )
I converted your .mp3 to a .wav file using Foobar 2000, and the resulting .wav file plays within FlexSim just fine (tested using this command structure).
I've attached a clip of the .wav file's first seconds, clipped from the full audio using WavePad Audio Editor Free which you can use to test playing from your FlexSim installation.
