Problem with Flexsim installation

Hi,

I have a few problems with installing 19.0.4 version after the installation of 19.1.0.

1. I have uninstalled the 19.1.0 version in the system application (Windows 10). Then I tried to install the 19.0.4 version but the installer told me that the newer version of the Flexsim is already installed on my PC.
The IT collegue uninstalled all the registry of the 19.1.0 version but it also did not help. I only have simulation models related to Flexsim on my PC but I can't install the 19.0.4 version cause of the information about newer version on my PC.

2. Why the uninstall option do not remove all the registry from the application ?

3. Despite the fact the installer can not install the app cause of the problem mentioned the installer still finish the whole process of installing, even creates the completed app and then remove all the files. It is weird because I received an information that the installation is not possible.

At the moment I am not allowed to install the 19.0.4 version on my PC cause of error mentioned.

19.1.0 and 19.0.4 are separate programs that install side-by-side. If the 19.0.4 installer says that you have a newer version installed, it isn't referring to 19.1.0. That's the error message if you try to install an older bugfix version over a newer one (e.g., trying to install 19.0.2 while 19.0.4 is installed). The more likely cause of that error is that something is messed up with the registry entries that the installer uses, perhaps because you tried to modify the registry directly.

Try uninstalling any versions of 19.0 (FlexSim 2019) that you may have installed in Add/Remove Programs. Then restart your computer. Then try installing using the msi installer instead of the exe.

Thank you for an answer, everything works fine with msi installer.
