3D connexion with latest drivers

Hi,

I have tried my 3D mouse (3Dconnexion SpaceNavigator for notebooks) with the latest release of the drivers:

https://www.3dconnexion.fr/service/drivers.html

However, whatever settings I change in the 3D connexion properties window, the 3D view in FlexSim is still lagging when moving.

Could you please try on your side with the latest version of the 3D mouse drivers ? What parameters should be changed ?

My only solution currently is just to uninstall these latest drivers...

FlexSim reads the inputs from the 3D connexion mouse as as a raw input device. It does not use or need the 3D connexion drivers.

Thanks Phil. So is there a way to change the sensitivity of the 3D mouse for FlexSim ?

You can change how the 3D mouse works using a module.

I'm still surprised that, if FlexSim does not use the 3D connexion drivers, the speed of my 3D mouse is not the same when I install the drivers or uninstall them.

The driver must be doing something to how the mouse is interacting with the system because we don't use the driver. My guess is that the driver might be changing the frequency that the mouse is sending its input messages in order to change the speed.
