DWG file not importing correctly

agvsim.fsmI am trying to import this dwg file into my simulation for AGVs and it does not seem to appear in the model space no matter how big I scale the image. I have also tried importing it as a jpg file but the dimensions are off in the simulation as well. I have checked the dimensions of the file in draftsight and everything seems to check out on that end. What am I doing wrong that the file will not import correctly? I have attached the dwg and simulation I am trying to import it intoagvlay.dwg

@Conner F,

Your background graphic seems to come in fine, near as I can tell. But as you can see, the dimensions don't appear to be correct. I suggest that you read the User Manual's section about importing CAD drawings. It gives you very useful information about importing drawings from CAD.

Thanks.

Thank you for the response, I went and scaled the drawing like the manual says but I for some reason am running into the issue where the drawing is not showing up in my simulation. I have opened up the simulation you sent and the dwg file shows up just fine but I cannot seem to make it appear in my model, is there possibly something I am doing wrong?agvlay2.dwgagvsim.fsmagvproblem.png

@Conner F

The background was set to be at the coordinate (0, 0) which makes the relevant stuff draw very far off screen.

I fixed it for you: agvsim.fsm

Thank you! So for this not to happen again I need to change the 0 coordinates of my drawing before inserting it into flexsim and that would fix my problem going forward?
